Stories with
purpose.

Darkroom 99 is an independent film production company built around a long-term creative team.

We began with a practical idea: strong stories do not have to wait for perfect circumstances. By bringing together filmmakers, performers, writers and technical specialists, we can create work now while laying the foundation for more ambitious productions.

Our direction is to develop, shoot, finish and share original narrative films. Every completed project gives us an opportunity to improve our process, sharpen our craft and build the body of work needed for the next stage.

We value mutual respect and real creative input. Members can bring their own ideas; each project defines its leaders, responsibilities and terms before work begins. We want a stable team with the freedom to grow.

Today our focus is original film development. As our portfolio grows, we intend to explore commissioned and client work as well. We are open to conversations with aligned producing and funding partners along the way.
